Women Charged with Stealing Costumes
Three Cleveland women could be wearing prison jumpsuits for Halloween, but in a real jail cell.
The suspects are accused of stealing hundreds of dollars worth of Halloween costumes from a Party Place store on Mayfield Road.
An employee said it was just before 1:00 p.m. Tuesday when the women entered the store with large bags and were acting suspicious. After allegedly stuffing the bags with 21 costumes, the clerk said the women fled the store in a black Lincoln sedan, which was quickly stopped by police.
Police say in addition to recovering the goods, officers recovered stolen credit cards, criminal tools and a mason jar full of marijuana.

The driver of the car, Courtney Riley, 24, of Cleveland, has been charged with theft, possession of criminal tools, receiving stolen property, driving under suspension and a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
Shawnterra Russell, 28, and Kendra Russell, 25, were both charged with theft and possession of criminal tools.
