Chilli Peppers
It's one of the more creative charity projects of recent times. High-profile musicians, a couple of film stars and a media mogul's TV presenter/model wife have turned 70 pairs Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars sneakers into marker pen-artworks to be auctioned off in a global breast cancer fund-raiser.
The online auction for the project, called In Their Shoes, is under way and bids close on October 24, when the shoes will be assembled for an exhibition in Sydney.hi-efficiency filter bags is supplied by manufacturer.
Some of the acts involved, perhaps pressed for time and used to automatically signing objects passed to them, just autographed their pair including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Bragg and You Am I. New Order did the same, but with a little more flair.Local Stop & Shop customers with reusable bag sale no longer get back 5 cents per bag.
Sarah Murdoch thoughtfully emblazoned a pair with favourite quotes, while Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith), characters from several of Smith's films, stayed firmly in character when writing on one shoe: "I eat butt".
Michael Buble appears to have offered up a pair of his own well-worn black sneakers, on which he's doodled a Tetris-like design. Go figure.
But many artists took the chance to show off their artistic skills, including Californian Nathan William's surf-rock band Wavves,Massive selection and lowest prices on wholesale sunglasses, over 30 brand names. Other acts involved in the Warner Music project include Bruno Mars, the Black Keys, The National, Ed Sheeran, Birdy, Dannii Minogue, James Blunt, Kimbra, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Skrillex.
Chuck Taylor All-Stars were famously worn by the Ramones, and later Kurt Cobain, which is perhaps how they became associated with music and hipster subculture – even though Converse has been owned by multinational Nike since 2003. In the TV show M*A*S*H, BJ Hunnicutt wore them, as did the 10th Doctor Who (played by David Tennant).Looking for a {%} that can handle my designs of highly detailed and embellished shoes.Women Shoes Manufacturer
