In honor of this weekend’s Wide Open Bluegrass Festival in downtown Raleigh, Raleigh accessories designer Holly Aiken has created a new line of bluegrass-influenced bags, wallets, clutches and wristlets. Featuring a banjo design in Aiken’s signature colorful vinyl, the bags will be available at the festival and in Aiken’s Stitch store on the corner of Wilmington and Hargett streets.

Dancing into fashion

Who better to model some of the season’s hottest shoes than ballerinas? That’s the idea behind the Rangoni Fall Fashion Show on Saturday at the Rangoni shoe store in Cameron Village. Dancers from the Carolina Ballet will model fall styles from Rangoni Firenze Shoes and Amalfi by Rangoni.
